Innocent and Death Row: A Talk by Death Row Exoneree Curtis McCarty

 

Come Listen to Curtis McCarty, who was wrongfully sent to death row in Oklahoma. He spent over 20 years in prison until DNA evidence proved his innocence and led to his release. In his case, a forensic chemist falsified evidence, which led to his wrongful conviction. Curtis is one of the 155 individuals who have been sentenced to death and later exonerated since 1973.
