You Can Help Abolish the Death Penalty in Kansas

  • Join the Coalition. Call the number listed below or e-mail us with your name, address, and e-mail. Dues are optional, but any amount is welcome.
  • Sign up to receive the Coalition’s newsletter on the Newsletter page.
  • Get active in one of our member or endorsing organizations. Many churches and other groups in Kansas oppose capital punishment. Groups that endorse the goal of abolition are listed on the About KCADP page.
  • Invite a speaker or show a video at a local meeting of your social or service organization; the Coalition can help you to find a speaker, video, or provide printed material.
  • Let your state senator and representative know your opinions about the death penalty. If you’d like to receive e-mail action alerts, send us your name, e-mail address, and mailing address (so we know which district you are in). Find your legislators here.
  • Write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper.
  • Make a contribution to help fund the Coalition’s work. Donations to the Coalition are tax-deductible under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Mail checks to the address below, or click the “donate” button to use a credit card via PayPal.
