Herman Lindsey, Executive Director of Witness to Innocence
Mr. Lindsey was convicted in 2006 and sentenced to death in Florida. In 2009, a unanimous Florida Supreme Court decision exonerated him. He is a living witness to how the criminal justice system can make significant mistakes even in death penalty cases. Now, as the current Executive Director of Witness to Innocence he works to shed light on how mistakes happen in the criminal justice system.
Innocence is one of many reasons why KCADP and its allies are working to end the Kansas death penalty. This conference is a great opportunity to get ready for repeal in 2025!
