This summer KCADP is helping to sponsor four FREE speaking events in central Kansas.
In late June, Bess Klassen-Landis, whose mother was brutally murdered in 1969, will be speaking to communities in central Kansas about the power of forgiveness.
Bess was able to overcome her own Post Traumatic Stress Disorder symptoms by forgiving her mother’s murderer and now tours the country sharing a message of hope. Like many murder victim family members, she is staunch in her opposition to the death penalty, which too often re-victimizes families and prolongs their pain as they are dragged through years of trials and appeals.
Please join KCADP at any of these events. And if you are not in the area but know someone who is, please let them know about these great opportunities!
