Join us at the 2025 Kansas Coalition Against the Death Penalty Conference! This year we will reflect and learn together under the theme of Repeal to Heal: Death Penalty Repeal Advances the Culture of Life.
Increasingly people are becoming aware of how the death penalty harms murder victim family members, correctional officers, jurors as well as society as a whole. This conference will offer an opportunity to explore this theme further through the lenses of faith and politics.
This theme will be explored by our three distinguished panelists:
- Krisanne Vaillancourt Murphy, Executive Director of the Catholic Mobilizing Network;
- Nan Tolson, Director of Texas Conservatives Concerned About the Death Penalty;
- Kansas State Representative Bill Sutton, District 43.
The conference will be Saturday November 22nd from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m.
The location is the Hudson Auditorium, located on the second floor of the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art on the Johnson County Community College Campus. JCCC is located at 12345 College Boulevard in Overland Park.
A virtual option is available.
