Ewnetu (read as “Ew-ne-two”) Tsegaw received his M.A. in Communication from Idaho State University in 2014. Before that, he completed his M.A. in Peace and Security studies at the Institute for Peace and Security Studies, Ethiopia. Ewnetu has been actively involving in different humanitarian projects, organizing civic events since he was an undergraduate student at the University of Bahirdar, Ethiopia.
He is a founder of Tesfa Health Initiative, a not-for-profit organization that aims to provide free clinical and educational service to the people in his birthplace, Ethiopia. Ewnetu also has teaching and research experience in higher education institutions (Wellesley College, Idaho State University and Dilla University): in the areas of intercultural communication, media management, information literacy, development communications, etc.
Ewnetu joins KCADP as the new Wichita and Western Kanasas Area Community Coordinator. He considers himself a “lifelong learner” and we are happy to welcome him to the KCADP team!
